They claim in their pitches, they are promoting the Kashmir willow wood bat in the cricket bat market. They export their manufactured bat to foreign markets.

But all the problems start just after the show telecast. Tramboo Sports and Sony Pictures Networks were served with a lawsuit by The Cricket Bat Manufacturers Association of Kashmir (CBMAK).

CBMAK claims that the startup’s idea was originally theirs, they are the sole manufacturer of Kashmir willow cricket bats.

The association also claims that the Tramboo Sports founders misled the public and buyers, and also damaged the image of the indigenous Kashmir willow cricket bat manufacturing industry.

The situation has become contentious, with both sides presenting their arguments in court. The founders maintain that their idea was original and that they independently developed it.
